About Us
BRINGING A LIVING JESUS TO A DYING WORLD
Our Tenets of Faith
These are the foundational beliefs we hold, tried and true, as we engage our world.
-
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in His bodily resurrection.
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God.
-
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as a subsequent gift to Salvation.
-
We believe in the provision of bodily healing in the atoning work of Jesus our Savior.
-
We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved unto eternal life, living eternally in the presence of God, and the lost unto eternal damnation without further opportunity of repentance.

Leading each person to their ‘desired haven.’
OUR STORY
There are certain experiences in life that are common to all people. Regardless of age, creed, ethnicity, or the size of your bank account, we all know what it is to feel lost - to feel adrift in the world with no direction or destination. We know what it’s like to search for something of substance to anchor our lives to, a firm foundation that will keep us afloat when the storms of life threaten to pull us under the waves. While there are a myriad of things that seem to offer us sure footing, we know that the only true and stable foundation for the human soul is a life found and fortified in Jesus Christ, through faith in His name.
Because of this, Haven Church is all about bringing a living Jesus to a dying world. We are committed to bringing the good news, seeing the brokenhearted healed, and seeing people set free. We endeavor to connect the human heart to a beautiful Savior because we know the powerful and transformative work of Jesus.
The name ‘Haven’ Church comes from Psalm 107:30 - “Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and He brought them to their desired haven…” Prior to this verse, the Psalmist shows snapshots of people from all walks of life all lost without a Savior. But God - as people cry out, He reaches out and delivers them leading each person to their “desired haven”.
Our prayer for Haven Church is that it becomes a safe and transformative haven for all. Regardless of where you come from or where you are on your journey— we want Haven Church to be a place where you find a sense of home and hope, and experience the life-changing love of Jesus.
